A piece of branded content for American Giant.
A package of videos I made for Acompli. The first is a more traditional ad, a "teaser" for the launch of the company itself. The second is a product video for the release of their flagship product.
Acompli was acquired by Microsoft in the fall of 2014 and rebranded as the new Outlook.
An Apple-style app video for the launch of Evernote Peek, the first Smart Cover app, and a series of user testimonials for Evernote.
Apple heard about the Peek product and wanted to rush the release, so we only had 36 hours – from concepting through production – to make the video.
A short, humorous video for the launch of PayPal's mobile payment app in conjunction with Thrutu.
Without a doubt, ZenPayroll is one of the nicest companies I've ever made a video for.
They wanted something where the product was the hero. Great fun to make.
A YouTube pre-roll ad campaign for Syncplicity.
A short animation for AT&T.
A few of my recent favorites (right) from the 2012 campaign trail.
During the past few presidential elections, I have been on the campaign trail as a photojournalist. In 2008, I worked for the political blog FiveThirtyEight, which was later acquired by The New York Times (and more recently, ESPN). In 2012, I hit the trail again, this time partnering with TalkingPointsMemo as a freelance photojournalist.

A video for the hardware product launch of Senic, a Y-Combinator company that created a laser range-finder that works with your smartphone.
I made this stop-motion piece with the super talented Vermont artist Devon Kelley-Yurdin. Hundreds and hundreds of tiny pieces of construction paper, moved less than a millimeter at a time.
A second never seems quite so long as when you have to divide it up into 24 segments.
This was a really fun new genre for me: the book trailer. I made this for Daisy Rockwell's Little Book of Terror, an incredibly compelling and complicated book of paintings and essays about The Global War on Terror. Released by Foxhead Books.
Daisy's paintings and books can be seen at DaisyRockwell.com.
A product story animation for News360.
A comedic video for the launch of SportStream, now an app for Facebook.

A spot from a couple of years ago. My first time experimenting with a lot of visual effects.
My favorite part might be the making-of video (below) from behind the scenes.
A short Apple-style app video to show off Dolphin's gesture browsing feature.
A short customer-focused ad for Diapers.com.
